The
Golf Complex is certainly our greatest accomplishment.
In Western Kentucky we now have a facility where golf can be
played year round. Students
can now practice and work on their game in any type of weather.
The goal of the teaching staff is two fold.
Provide a learning atmosphere that is priced affordable.
Create more interest in the game of golf through our junior
programs. The
affordability of a Range membership and the Junior range membership
certainly assist in everyone being able to afford and enjoy the game
of golf.
Teaching
Philosophy
My
teaching philosophy is very simple.
I believe in building a swing from the ground up.
The lower body gives us direction in the game. A good foundation of position and balance are the cornerstone
of all great players. Second
the upper body turn and swing is built upon the player’s physique.
Everyone is built differently thus everyone has a different
swing plane. You must
be able to accept your body type in order to produce a swing that is
most efficient to you. There
are three basic types of players.
Leverage, width, and arc are the general categories of
players. Most will be a
combination of two categories.
Lessons are important for all of us who wish to excel
in this wonderful game. We
recommend while learning you should take at least two per month.
Once you have reached your level of play then our
recommendation is one per month.
It definitely takes a commitment to retain or excel your
current level of play.
